Discussion Questions 2-8

Mrs. Bennet seems to be hell bent on getting her girls married off, so why is she
upset when Lydia goes off and gets married? Is she truly upset by her daughter leaving or is she just being overly dramatic like she always seems to be?

Lady Catherine Debourgh was against the marriage of Darcy and Elizabeth, however in the end she finally seemed to accept it. Austen offers some suggestions to her change in heart, but where there other factors that may have played a role?
